Managed service providers often find themselves wearing many hats. Juggling various responsibilities and tasks that result from keeping client’s systems safe and functional leaves little time for learning and networking.
In IT and cybersecurity, tools and standards change fast. As busy as you may be, you must keep up with new technology and make sure you use the best MSP software on the market.
Equally important, to expand your business, you need to constantly connect with prospects. Time is not a regenerable resource, so if you’re going to spend half a day at an industry event, it should be worth it.
Here’s a selection of MSP events that our cybersecurity specialists at Heimdal marked as essential in 2024.

Always have a “meet new client basic kit” with you. The kit can include a (virtual) business card, a symbolic promotional and quickly shareable info materials about your services they could study later.
Avoid sending only one person to a networking event. You want their energy to be up, not to feel lonely in a crowd.
