Threat Watch Live – February

This month on Threat Watch Live, I’m joined by Becky Holmes, author of Keanu Reeves Is Not In Love With You and The Future of Fraud, an international speaker, and one of the leading voices exposing modern fraud and social engineering tactics.

Becky joins me for a special February edition of Threat Watch Live as we examine the latest cybersecurity threats and news through a different lens: the human attack surface.

While social engineering is often reduced to phishing emails, Becky’s work reveals what happens when attackers invest time, emotion, and trust building to manipulate victims, techniques that increasingly mirror the tactics used in business email compromise, executive impersonation, and long con fraud.

Together, we’ll explore how these methods are evolving, why traditional technical controls are no longer enough on their own, and what MSPs and security professionals need to understand to better protect their clients in a threat landscape where people, not systems, are the primary target.
