Social Media Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER
You can participate in the Heimdal™ Social Media Giveaway on two social media platforms: Facebook and Instagram.
To enter the giveaway on Facebook, make sure to like our page and the giveaway post. To enter the giveaway on Instagram, you need to follow our account and like the giveaway post. You can enter once on every social media platform to maximize your chances of winning. Multiple entries across the same platform are not permitted.
The entries must fulfill all Social Media Giveaway requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Winners will be granted the prize upon submitting their contact details consisting of name, phone number, and email, via private message.
Respondents who have not provided a valid email address will not be eligible for winning. You may enter once across all three platforms for multiple chances of winning. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Heimdal™ Security.
ELIGIBILITY
The Social Media Giveaway is open to anyone of legal age in their residing country as of the date of entry, including but not limited to Heimdal™ users.
Employees of Heimdal™ Security (the Sponsor) and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Social Media Giveaway.
No purchases are necessary. A purchase will not increase the chances of winning. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Only the respondents who provide their contact details for licensing purposes will be eligible for winning the prize.
Please note that, in order to redeem the prize consisting of Heimdal™ Threat Prevention license for 20 corporate endpoints, you must be an enterprise user. If this is not the case and you wish to redirect the prize towards a third-party enterprise, do specify this aspect as a reply to our winner announcement direct message.
AGREEMENT TO RULES
By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Heimdal™ Security, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Social Media Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
SOCIAL MEDIA GIVEAWAY PERIOD
The Social Media Giveaway entry period begins at 1:30 pm CET on December 6, 2021, and ends at 1:30 pm CET on December 16, 2021. Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted and timely received during the Social Media Giveaway Period. Winners will be announced on December 17, 2021, at 1:30 pm CET.
PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING
There will be 5 winners drawn at random on each of the 2 social media platforms, for a total of 10 winners. Each of the 5 winners will receive one (1) Heimdal™ Threat Prevention license for 20 corporate endpoints for one year and one (1) Heimdal™ Premium Security Home license for 3 home devices for one year.
No cash or other prize substitution is permitted. Any prize-related expenses, including without limitation any federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Heimdal™ Security to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
Five (5) winners will be selected from each of the two (2) platforms by random drawing to be held on December 17, 2021, for a total of ten (10) winners. Winners will be chosen among the participants who have fulfilled the specified entry conditions. The potential winners will be notified via private message on the day of the draw (on Instagram). For Facebook, they will be announced in a post and they will have to first send us a private message, so that we can offer them the details about their prize.
The draw will be conducted by Heimdal™ Security. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Heimdal™ Security may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected randomly. Heimdal™ Security shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within three (3) days from the time award notification was sent, the prize of Heimdal™ Threat Prevention Enterprise may be forfeited. The prize of Heimdal™ Premium Security Home will be awarded directly in the winning message. Winners will receive the Heimdal™ Threat Prevention Endpoint prize within a maximum of five (5) business days after replying to the winning message sent by a Heimdal™ Security representative.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Heimdal™ Security reserves the right to modify, terminate, suspend, or cancel the Social Media Giveaway at its sole discretion. Heimdal™ Security also reserves the right to disqualify your entry if found ineligible to participate. If a dispute arises regarding your identity, Heimdal™ Security reserves the right not to award the prize and draw another winner.
Heimdal™ Security has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Social Media Giveaway, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to multiple entries from the same user from different accounts, multiple entries from the same user over that allowed by Social Media Giveaway rules, or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering.
Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Social Media Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Heimdal™ Security reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your identity will not be disclosed to any third parties and will only be accessed by Heimdal™ Security. The names and email addresses collected in the Social Media Giveaway period will be deleted within one (1) week after the winners are announced unless you explicitly signed up to receive future Newsletter communications.
You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter and choosing to be deleted from Heimdal™ Security’s database.
