Cyber Security Speaker & Industry Commentator

Adam is a regular cyber security speaker at industry events across the UK, recognised for his ability to bring cybersecurity to life through real-world case studies drawn from his career as a cyber crime detective. Rather than presenting theory, Adam weaves genuine police investigations into his talks, giving audiences a rare and compelling perspective on the threats they face and the practical steps needed to address them.

He has spoken at some of the most respected events in the industry, including CompTIA UK&I, ISE Europe, the Managed Services Summit in London and Manchester, and the Brigantia Annual Partner Day. His talk at CompTIA EMEA directly led to an invitation to speak at ISE Europe, where organisers noted the impact of his presentation on the British Library cyberattack.

Adam’s commentary and thought leadership also extends beyond the stage. He has been cited as a cybersecurity expert in Forbes, The Daily Mail, The Sun, and The Standard, and has published articles with Computer Weekly, TechRadar, and Business Reporter.

Threat Watch Live – Behind the Technology: AI, Human Risk and the Future of Cyber Security

Date: Tuesday, August 4, 2026 Time: 10:00hrs BST

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded into the systems, processes and decisions that organisations rely on, security leaders are being challenged to look beyond the technology alone. The risks are not just technical; they are shaped by people, behaviours, business pressures and the way new tools are adopted in the real world.

In this episode of Threat Watch Live, we welcome Lianne Potter, Chief AI security & Ethics Officer at NorthStar Intelligence. Drawing on her experience across AI security, security operations, human centred innovation and large scale technology transformation, Lianne will share her perspective on how organisations can build security functions that are resilient, adaptive and grounded in real world impact.

Join us for an insightful discussion covering AI security, human risk, SecOps maturity, cyber resilience and why understanding the people behind the systems remains critical to protecting organisations in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
