Robertino brings more than 38 years of experience across cybersecurity, military intelligence and enterprise infrastructure. He began his career in military intelligence (S2), working with HUMINT, OSINT, threat modelling and operational security. This early work gave him first hand insight into how human behaviour, intelligence gathering and technical defence intersect when protecting critical assets.
He later moved into the technology sector, working with Microsoft on early operating system security architecture and helping shape enterprise infrastructure platforms including Exchange, SQL Server and SMS. At Compaq, he contributed to the Wolfpack project, one of the first fault-tolerant clustering solutions for Windows NT, designed to improve resilience and business continuity in high-availability environments.
Over the years he has supported security operations for some of the world’s most demanding organisations, including the World Economic Forum, multiple Formula one teams, HP, Microsoft, BMW and Audi. Today, as Head of Presales Engineering at Heimdal Security, he advises organisations on modern cyber defence strategies, with a strong focus on defending both systems and the people behind them.
