Heimdal™ Proactively Protects Its Customers Against Microsoft Exchange Server Exploit

Copenhagen, March 10th, 2021 – Heimdal™ Security (Heimdal™), a leading global provider of an all-encompassing cybersecurity suite comprising threat prevention, vulnerability management, endpoint detection, PAM, application control, and e-mail security, today announces an emergency intervention to fix any vulnerabilities associated with the Microsoft Exchange Server Exploit.

Following the dire news of tens of thousands of institutions and organizations being hit after the 4 new Microsoft Exchange Server vulnerabilities were revealed last week (CVE-2021-26855, CVE-2021-26857, CVE-2021-26858, and CVE-2021-27065), Heimdal™ began pushing an automatic update to patch these vulnerabilities by default for all of their customers.

After warning their customers and the public about the potential danger regarding the Microsoft Exchange Server zero-days a week ago, Heimdal™ is ready to push this automatic fix for any customers who postponed applying the necessary patches.

They are also open to counseling any organization which might be dealing with a bad Microsoft Exchange Server aftermath and help set up an automated patching system (through the innovative Heimdal™ Patch & Asset Management solution) for them to prevent any similar situation in the future.
